I want everyone to know it’s not me! I know what looks like my picture has been all over the news. Reports have even made CNN; you can see a full version of the video article here:
But it’s not me, really! I know the kitty in question looks a lot like me; but I am pretty sure we’re not even related.
I have been home the whole time. Idaho is a long walk from my house; and I don’t like even going out on the deck. I have never walked to Idaho; I promise.
I hope people don’t think I go out and steal clothes. Really I don’t like them, I don’t wear them, I don’t collect them. On the other hand there are these little stuffed fish with ribbon tails…
But truthfully, I prefer sleeping at home… in my little bed.

It really does look like you! I’m really glad you posted a video confession that it was NOT you. It would be terrible if your reputation were to get sullied by this other brazen kitty. We, here in NY, know that other than your stuffed fish addiction, you are a fine and law-abiding guy!
